The Buenos Aires Laminar Catalinas Centre is on the fourth floor of the 20-storey Laminar Plaza Tower, a 1997 high-rise with glass façade, marble and granite entrance and views across the River Plate. It forms part of the Catalinas Norte, a purpose-built complex of 15 commercial office buildings occupied by leading Argentine and international companies, diplomatic offices and the Sheraton Hotel, the first skyscraper to open as part of the development project in the 1970s. This central location is near the Retiro station, the main terminal for long distance bus and rail services and Argentina's largest transportation hub. Catalinas Norte is one of the zones that make up the city's commercial district, and there are many financial, technology, utilities and consultancy businesses nearby. There is 24-hour access to the centre, which has its own secure underground parking.
Overview
