Requirement for Superset Consulting A major financial services organization sought to transition away from a leading commercial BI solution for one of its core products. The goal was to migrate to an Open Source system (Superset) to achieve significant savings on licensing costs.
Deliverables NobleProg conducted multiple project meetings with the client to thoroughly understand the requirements, scope, risks, and technical environment. Based on these discussions, we developed a comprehensive Statement of Work to guide and track the project. Our lead consultant focused on aligning the existing data architecture with the specific reporting requirements for each report type. We recommended modifications to the data stores to maximize the effectiveness of Superset while ensuring optimal performance, providing the implementation team with clear guidance on these changes. After optimizing the data store and pipeline, our consultants began building and deploying a range of reports, addressing both existing requirements and new requests from the business and customers. To present the data as requested, custom plug-ins were developed to enable more interactive data presentation, including drill-down features.
Outcome Our consultants have developed new dashboards while ensuring that sufficient knowledge is embedded within the customer’s organization to maintain these dashboards and reports.
The project is currently ongoing and has been well-received by both the customer’s business stakeholders and their end clients. Reflecting the project’s success, it has been expanded to include additional products and end clients.
