Programme

Module 1 : Introduction

    What is the BPM? Concepts and definitions. Examples of projects.

Module 2: BPM, the process vision

    Types of process: business, strategic, operational, application. Implementation of a process repository. Classification of processes: degree of repetition, automation, structuring. ROI: tangible and intangible benefits.

Workshop: analysis of an existing system and presentation of a possible process repository under MEGA™ HOPEX.

Module 3: Process Orchestrations

    The principle of modeling: models and process instances. Control flow patterns. BPMN, the standard modeling language: first elements. Moving from the vision of a business decision-maker to a model BPMN: Signavio ™ Quick Model.

Module 4 : BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation) 2.0

    Tasks and sub-processes. Events: start, intermediate, finalization. Gateways: data, events, complex. Introducing BPMN 2.0 in Signavio™ Process Manager.

Workshop: modeling a process in BPMN 2.0 on Signavio™ Process Manager. The workshop can focus on the processes provided in the training, or on processes at the request of the trainees.

Module 5 : DMN (Decision Model & Notation) 1.0

    Interest of business rules. The standard DMN for modeling business rules. Introducing DMN 1.0 in Signavio™ Process Manager.

Workshop: continuation of the modeling of the previous process with the addition of a business rule under DMN 1.0 on Signavio™ Process Manager.

Module 6: Architectures of BPM

    SOA (Services Oriented Architecture). BPM et SOA. Les Web Services. BPEL (Business Process Execution Language).

Workshop: reflection on the integration of processes into the IT infrastructure.

Module 7: Processes Become Applications

    Writing and executing a process on Oracle BPMS.

Workshop: modeling and execution of a process on Oracle BPMS.

Module 8 : BAM (Business Activity Monitoring)

    Monitoring the execution of a process with a BAM. Metrics and KPIs. Metrics with Bizagi Xpress.

Module 9: Methodology of a BPM project

    First project BPM. Specificities of a project BPM. 10 keys to a successful project BPM.

Workshop: application of the methodology to the problem seen in the course.
